Little could find on Berthold Schwarz (Freiburg, Germany) in the network beyond terse biographies (and English). As I read his real name was Konstantin Anklitzen changing it soon after becoming a Franciscan monastery. Nobody knows for sure why he chose this new name, what is known is that
"Schwarz" in German means
" neearlier, as is the case of Roger Bacon and other investigations of the East. Something that can not be denied is that another was devoted to investigate their properties and is currently considered the creator of modern artillery. His death is another matter of discussion, we know that he died in Venice in
1384. One version says he had an accident with a reserve of gunpowder he had. Others claim that the explosion was an accident but was caused, some more blame their opponents, enemies and even the same
Catholic Church.
